And the winner is…..(x2!)
Happy October, and happy almost 3 months of blogging to me!
I have not one, but two winners to announce today to close out my Fashion Month posts!
The first winner is the person who won my first Giveaway.
The winner is Stacey! She won the Sand Cloud Dolphin Bangle Bracelet mentioned in this post.
The second winner is the Modcloth dress I chose for September events.
You can see my favorites I was trying to choose between in this post. Or, you can click on these links to see full details of each dress on the Modcloth Website:
Botanical Breakfast A-line Dress in Forest
Two Ways, All Day Midi Dress in Black
Verified Vacationer Knit Dress in Merlot (color no longer available – links to same dress, but in stripes)
Winner: None of the above!
Yes, I know this dress is none of those I was originally drooling over. What happened was I did choose a dress, the Verified Vacationer Knit Dress in Merlot, but when it came the fit was so unflattering! Luckily, Modcloth has a super easy return program so I sent it back with plenty of time to choose another before the end of the month. As I was returning the dress, I caught a sale on dresses which included the one I ended up with.
I Love Your Jersey Dress in Plum in S turned out to be the perfect dress for me! I was a little nervous ordering a small, but it fit like a dream!
I decided to wear it for Homecoming weekend at the College I obtained my Bachelor Degree in Music from, Lancaster Bible College. It was super comfy to wear the whole first day of Homecoming Weekend, and made me feel more mature in style and in spirit! The fit could not have been more perfect for my body type; arm holes that were not too big, right length for being outdoors even in a little wind, and a higher, modest neckline. I also loved the way the folds were on the front of the dress, and the way the material let you breath comfortably. This dress would be easy to dress either up or down. If I was chilly I just wore a plain black sweater over it.
BTW, there is a limited time sale on many pieces from Modcloth that just started today! (While supplies last.) Maybe you will find the perfect Fall dress for you!
Also, do not forget about these offers:
• Free shipping & returns. (Terms apply).
• New customer offer: 20% off your first order.
