Christmas Photo Shoot Fun for Everyone!

It is almost Christmas, and this past month of preparations included some Christmas Photo Shoot Fun! I usually take a few cute pics of our pets dressed up, and yes, even our Tortoise! “Pet Rock” as we refer to him, is a Sulcata Tortoise. He is around 9 years old (older than our dog!), and he came into our possession a little over a year ago. He was timid at first, especially when Tiger was around, but now he boldly walks around the house or yard no matter who is around him. Tiger and him get along well enough I have been able to get them closer and closer for Holiday photos throughout this year.

I like to have photos taken too, so I teamed up with one of my favorite photographer friends for a fun shoot! We had a good time trying out some different poses in her new, indoor photography studio. You can see more of her work out of South-Central PA on her website.

A few posts ago I mentioned I was shopping for a nice shirt to wear at Holiday events. So, what shirt from the list of gift ideas in this post did I choose? Here it is in these photos from the shoot:
Tip: I never go to a shoot without some light makeup, and always highlighter! It can accent your feminine facial features more, and slims your face. My favorite is from ELF.

I chose the Pullover Sweatshirt With Lace Overlay because it was a softer, sweatshirt like material on the inside. It is comfy like a sweatshirt, but fancy enough on the outside to be a more versatile piece. I even wore it in the Christmas Production I was in!

OK , ‘ve seen lots of pet christmas photos but this is the first for me, I’ve never seen a tortoise sweater, and it is so adorable, it make me want to buy a tortoise just for that or find a friend with a tortoise that I can dress up. I love the shirt you choose, I was going to say exactly what you wrote its a classed up sweatshirt and is perfect for the chilly weather coming through but also delicate enough with the lace to be able to wear to events.

I can’t believe you have a pet tortoise! He is adorable. My step-daughter has been asking for one for years but we always thought there was a lot of work involved, and don’t they live for a super long time too?
Yes they have a long lifespan than humans if taken care of properly. It is hardly any work, and super affordable to take care of! It only gets a little tricky in the winter depending on where you live. We get cold winters here in PA so he definitely stays indoors at all times that part of the year. Thankfully he is still small enough a very large Rubbermaid container with a heat lamp hung over it keeps him contained and warm.
This is such a cute photo shoot. Your pup is so cute and I love turtles! I love your outfit, it looks so cute! I buy a lot of clothes from Maurice’s, I love how great quality they are. You don’t find that much anymore.
